CTEP Applicant Profile

The Applicant Profile is a vital part of the admissions selection process. If you are considering applying to the Concurrent Teacher Education Program, you MUST complete and submit the Applicant Profile.

We are interested in your experiences about teaching and learning, and by completing an applicant profile, you have the opportunity to tell us what you have learned from those experiences.

PDF samples of the Applicant Profile are available for viewing on the Applicant Profile Login page.

Note: you should have already applied to the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) before completing the CTEP Applicant Profile.

In order to login to the applicant profile you will need a copy of your U of T Applicant Number. This number is provided to you by the Office of Admissions and Awards in your Letter of Acknowledgment. This letter is mailed to you after the University of Toronto receives your application from OUAC. Note that you may have to wait more than a week after submitting your OUAC application to be assigned a U of T Applicant Number.

We encourage you to apply to OUAC well before the January 16/ February 1, 2012 deadline to ensure that you receive your Letter of Acknowledgement prior to the Applicant Profile deadline of February 15, 2012.

Note: you must complete payment at the time of submitting the profile in order to ensure that the profile is sent for processing. The applicant profile processing fee is a one-time payment of $50.00 Canadian. This payment must be made online using a Mastercard or VISA credit card. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you indicating that the payment has been received.

Once you have paid your $50.00 application processing fee you may return to your CTEP Online Applicant Profile and amend aspects of your responses until the profile submission deadline. After the deadline, you will not be able to make any changes to your profile.
